Our son Justin,
Ashley's brother and only sibling, has been touched deeply by Ashley's
death, and has expressed his grief very eloquently in writing.
Susan and I came
across some of these writings, and we were moved by the tenderness of
Justin's heart as he attempted to express his sense of loss at the death
of his only sister.
I asked his permission
to place a few of his writings on this memorial web site, and he consented.
I think you will be touched, as we were, as you read the thoughts of a
12-year-old boy trying to put into words what it is like to lose your
sister and friend to a horrible disease such as cancer.
I am very proud
of Justin, and I think you will see why.
(The only editing
I have done has been to correct a few spelling and grammatical errors
here and there. The words are all Justin's.)
