I have had a website at orear.com for many years. After a long dry spell of no activity (no new information posted), I have decided to revive the site with a new look and feel, and a new title to match: The O’Rear Files. Much of the information that was posted on the old website will be moved to The O’Rear Files as time permits.

The O’Rear Files is built on the wildly popular and feature-rich WordPress blogging/CMS platform. WordPress offers a tremendous amount of flexibility in designing the site, plus a built-in consistency between the various pages and posts. One key feature that adds improved usability is the built-in search box at the top of the sidebar on the right. When combined with the categories and tags that are applied to each post, finding any piece of information on the site should require only a few mouse clicks.

I hope you enjoy this new look and feel. As the site grows, I also hope you find something here that will be interesting and maybe even useful! Thank you for your patience as the site is rebuilt from the ground up.
