Hi Paul!
Very nice site. I am an O'Rear and proud of it too.
After seeing your family photos I have to say that I am a little concerned. My father has three brothers and no sisters. Looks like you had the same. My husband and I were going to try for a girl (we have two boys), but now we are going to have to rethink it :-) The O'Rear genes sure are powerful!!!!
By the way, if you lined up my father's family's childhood photos with your family's, they would be indistinguishable.
Something to say for strong genetics.
Anyway, thanks for the great site!

Most of my family lives in Tx..Though I was the only boy from my Dad .His 2 brothers had girls.I was the last of the name sake,until my son was born.I await the day another O'Rear boy is born.Very nice to know a site like this exsist.Pretty heart warming and interesting.

Hey Fam!!
I just thought people would like to know where some other O'Rears are. I'm a granddaughter of Lawrence Allen O'Rear, Sr. and Elsie Smith O'Rear. They each had 10 or 11 brothers and sisters. Most of the ones I know are in Jasper Alabama or Florida somewhere. Allen was born 1921 (I believe), served in the Navy and graduated from API (now Auburn). Allen and Elsie had 3 boys. Lawrence Allen O'Rear, Jr. (Larry, my dad) some of you may know him as Buster. He served in the Navy as well and lives in Elmore County. Russell Travis, born 1971,is a pilot in Atlanta. I was born in 1983 and was a gymnast for Auburn University. David O'Rear, my uncle, passed away november 19th in Orlando. Roger O'Rear, has two boys. Roger Jr., and Ryan O'Rear (former marine). (yeah I know I left out aunt Susie and my mom Jean, but they married into this mess).

I had a dream with a girl. In that dream this girl always were writing "OREAR" in a blue blackboard. I dreamed that dream 2 weeks ago. I don't what it means but I was compeled to seek that word, Don't ask why. And I think I understand now.
