Air Bud Pictures
On Friday, December 5, Buddy, the Golden Retriever who starred in the Disney movie "Air Bud" (about a dog that plays basketball), came to Children's Medical Center in Dallas to spend some time with the patients. Ashley and Justin both got to be there that day, and the pictures on this page are from that memorable occasion. (Mickey and Minnie Mouse were also on hand, straight from Disneyland in California!)
Shortly after completion of the movie, it was discovered that Buddy had cancer, and he had to have his right rear leg amputated. At the time of his appearance at Children's, he was taking chemotherapy, including two of the same drugs as Ashley!
