Dead Sea Scrolls ..... Dad loved the Bible, and he loved science. Perhaps this combination of interests led to his interest in archaeology. I remember him being particularly fascinated with information concerning the discovery of the Dead Sea Scrolls near Qumran. This web site is packed with information (and even some pictures) concerning this amazing discovery.

Great Smoky Mountains ..... When I was a young boy, our family took a couple of summer camping trips to the Smoky Mountains in Tennessee. Dad loved camping and loved the Smokies.

National Audubon Society ..... Dad's love of nature also found expression in the fascinating hobby of bird-watching. I remember many weekend drives out country roads looking for painted buntings and red-winged blackbirds. This is the official web site of the National Audubon Society, with lots of good bird-related information and pictures.

Get Smart ..... I remember how much Dad enjoyed watching the madcap antics of Maxwell Smart and Agent 99 in this hilarious TV show. This excellent web site has a remarkable guide to every episode, plus lots of information about the show and its cast. It is a definite must-see for all Get Smart fans!

Hogan's Heroes ..... This was another of Dad's favorite TV shows.
